Job Description: 
Baxter is a global leader in renal home therapies through its products for Peritoneal Dialysis (PD), providing PD solutions, devices, supplies, education and services to help patients with end-stage kidney disease perform dialysis treatment at home. Global Renal is a $2.3 billion business with more than half its sales coming from outside the United States. This role of Marketing Manager will have the opportunity to work on the HomeChoice Automated Peritoneal Dialysis (APD) platform that drives over half of Renals sales.
Baxter seeks a high energy self-starter to provide business leadership and support to the cross-functional APD product teams. This individual will work in a dynamic global environment to drive commercialization and life-cycle management activities on Renals existing APD product platform.
This individual, working in partnership with regional and country marketing team members and cross-functional product teams, will be responsible for:

* Implementation of key product and business initiatives that support the overall PD therapy and product strategy
* Maximizing the value of existing APD offering to drive short and long-term profitable business growth by portfolio optimization, life cycle management and driving brand value of existing products
* Driving global commercialization of product improvements and geographic expansions through the creation of marketing and communication plans and facilitation of regional execution to plan
* Providing voice of customer and general marketing support for R&D programs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Support Lifecycle management (LCM) of HomeChoice (APD device) and Geographic Expansion of new products by serving as a key contributor to core teams
* Support the R&D Prioritization process for new products and line extensions of existing APD portfolio
* Aid in the creation of Marketing Plans in collaboration with regional Marketing leaders, Clinical Medical, Commercial Analytics and Market Access to ensure that segmentation, positioning, branding, messaging and competitive threats are fully addressed
* Provide support on Portfolio optimization, Portfolio Analysis, and Business mapping to support the growth of the business
* Build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams (R&D, LCM, Clinical Medical, Finance, Market Access, Commercial Analytics & Regional teams)
* Provide solutions that reflect understanding of business objectives and cost implications

Job Requirements

* Demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal skills and excellent communication across functions, organizational levels and cultures to help deliver business results
* Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and execute
* Strong business acumen
* Experience working in a global matrix environment and with external partners
* Flexible and team-work oriented

Requirements

Bachelor degree required
3-5 years experience in the healthcare industry
Global or international marketing experience preferred but not required
