Come, shine with us!The Sr. Product Mgr. for MDV3100 is responsible for the yearly market plan strategy development & tactical execution for nurse & patient education. This role focuses on patient marketing and ensuring insights are captured and built into the ongoing marketing strategy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to working with nurses & patients to develop deep customer insights, creating patient education materials both for nurses to eductate patients and patients self-learning, leading the effort to create a comprehensive compliance & persistency platform, building a patient focused website, evaluating patient relationship marketing approaches and value, supporting PR campaigns that target the patient, working with advocacy groups, etc.. This person is responsible for flawless execution of initiatives working in close collaboration with partners including other members of the brand team, the partner company, internal stakeholders across functions, and agencies. The person plays a lead role providing strategic input into the development of the US promotional strategy.Job Responsibilities:1. Prepare for the launch of MDV3100 in prostate cancer.2. Develop and implement marketing plans and strategic initiatives to overcome business obstacles, create awareness among patients, drive market share, improve compliance and persistency & achieve sales targets.3. Lead tactical execution of promotional strategy for patient education, in collaboration with external and internal partners.4. Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment on strategy and messaging across all channels.5. Create and manage the annual budget for patient marketing.6. Participate in the marketing component of the Medical, Legal, Regulatory review process for patient education to ensure all programs are within guidelines.7. Manage outside agencies & consultants in the following capacities: project estimate development, time management, and execution of project components, management recommendation and assuring consistency with Astellas goals direction and ethics.8. Identify new agency partners with unique competencies that can drive brand performance. Requirements Required* 7+ years of relevant pharmaceutical experience required* 3+ years oncology patient marketing experience required. Experience working on prostate cancer is optimal, but not required as is experience working on oral medications* Must possess excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple, sometime competing, priorities* Demonstrates ability to influence peers and key stakeholders within and outside the organization* Ability to travel up to 40%Preferred* Knowledge of and recent experience in managing a drug launch in oncology a plus* Existing KOL nurse relationships in prostate cancer is preferred* Experience working in a partnership / co-promotion* MBA degree*cb* |
