Job Title: Product Manager II Responsible for all product management and product marketing activities associated with the Clontech Cloning and cDNA Synthesis product lines. Clontech has a wide range of consumable products that are sold and marketed worldwide. Consumable products and kits are primarily targeted at customers involved with molecular biology research and pharmaceutical product development. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Analysis of Clontech Cloning and cDNA Synthesis product lines, market conditions and market opportunities, and identifying, developing, recommending, and implementing action plans to take advantage of opportunities for Clontech. Work with R&D to make sure that products being developed are targeted to identified opportunities within the Clontech Cloning and cDNA Synthesis product lines. In conjunction with the R&D team, assist in managing relationships with product development partners. Work with Sales and Marketing Communications to launch and promote Clontech Cloning and cDNA Synthesis product line products. Responsible for analyzing market opportunities and customer needs associated with Clontech Cloning and cDNA Synthesis product lines to define opportunities for Clontech. In conjunction with the Sales Team, assist in managing key customer relationships. Where necessary, make visits to customers to ascertain their needs for custom product opportunities that could be satisfied by products in the areas of responsibility. Be responsible for worldwide Clontech Cloning and cDNA Synthesis product lines marketing and financial performance. Work with Operations Department to insure consistent product availability and quality of Clontech Cloning and cDNA Synthesis product lines products. Requirements Education / Experience |
