Job Description:  Responsible for conducting product development in collaboration with others within Department and Company. Designs and analyzes experiments and integrates this work into the work of others to complete the assignments of the projects. Writes experimental summaries and technical reports.

Requirements

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, virology, immunology or related field) with 4-8 years research, industrial laboratory experience or Master's degree in same with 1-4 years experience and demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles. Competence in analytical method development of Immunochemistry required. Experience with lateral flow immunoassay development and related preparative and analytical techniques strongly desired. Working knowledge of antibody conjugation required. Understanding of experimental design and basic skills in statistics. Experience in GLP/GMP compliant environment. Adequate analytical and problem solving abilities coupled with knowledge of industry standards and practices required.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Designs and analyzes complex experiments and integrates work of self and others to complete assignment of the overall work plan
- Writes experimental summaries and technical reports for own data
- Writes reports covering data and non-data project topics
- Conducts literature reviews; summarizes and evaluates data obtained.
- Works effectively with own team members as well as other personnel
- Efficiently manages own time to complete laboratory work and associated paperwork by assigned completion dates
- Performs other assignments or projects as directed
- Responsible for compliance with the companys quality system requirements through training and adherence to policies, procedures and processes
- Supports product transfer from development to manufacturing and associated product manufacturing activities
