The Director E-Strategy, Products Programs is accountable for developing, leading, and driving a unified global digital strategy and execution plan across product brands and geographies. The successful candidate will need to effectively lead and establish strategy, tactics, and processes across key matrix teams (Commercial Sales/Marketing, Corporate Communications, and IT) to deliver a best-in-class experience in all digital channels. This position will partner with Web property owners across departments (Commercial - product sites, Corporate Communications - corporate patient sites) to develop creative and robust digital strategies/products/programs that enhance our delivery of online information to physicians, payors, patients, and other key stakeholders. Digital channels are defined to include GHI web site properties, online ordering, social networking sites, and mobile applications. Requirements - Ability to align with the company's culture and values, a visible leader as perceived by colleagues.- A take charge spirit, moving cross functional teams to action by planning, motivating, organizing, and controlling work being done.- 10+ years of career progression in developing, leading, and executing global digital strategic plans.- M.B.A. or M.S. highly desirable, B.A. or B.S. degree required, cross functional emphasis/experience in computer software/digital infrastructures, e-strategies, commercial marketing, and corporate communication objectives highly desired. - Exceptional organizational/project management skills, 7+ years in a successful project management/leadership role desired, 5+ years supervising/managing people. Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliverables at once. Strong initiative, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability. Sense of ownership in driving projects to completion.- Superior interpersonal and presentation skills, including facilitation, persuasive negotiation, and leadership skills.- Ability to establish credibility quickly and maintain excellent relationships - Ability to lead and guide the business case process for new digital strategies and program development- Excellent teamwork and interaction skills to lead cross functional teams and interface effectively with internal partners including Corporate Communications, the Commercial Team (Sales, Product Management, Marketing Services, Commercial Operations), IT, Medical Affairs/Communications, Company Executives, Outside Agencies, vendors, and the Media.- Proven success building and implementing a multifaceted digital marketing strategy/execution plan. - Ability to identify, develop, and integrate best digital practices on a global basis, integrating multiple languages across our digital channels. - Ability to function successfully under pressure in a highly dynamic environment. - Strong understanding of various software applications, platforms, and deployment techniques for maximum navigational efficiency. Solid expertise in determining the criteria needed to assess vendor proposals when selecting vendor relationships to assist GHI in deployment.- Technical skills should include a strong working knowledge around ASP.NET, LAMP, FLASH, RSS, TWITTER, HTML 4/5; ADOBE Products; SITECORE, DRUPAL, CSS, MS PROJECT@TASK, Browser Differentiations/capabilities across FIREFOX/SAFARI/IE, PADS/TABLETS, and Cell phone/mobility.- In-depth understanding of how to leverage social media to drive Genomic Health's commercial objectives and maintain a strong, competitive advantage in the digital marketplace.- Experience managing digital trends and other digital reporting products. Knowledge of site analytics and metrics to determine entry points and exit points.- The ability to set and meet strict deadlines and work successfully under tight deadlines.- Comfortable working in a scientific business environment where success is often the result of cooperation and collaboration. - Ideal candidate will be bilingual in one of the following languages: Spanish, German, French, or Japanese. |
