Job Description:  Oversee and execute marketing strategies, development of programs and tactics to attain strategic objectives associated with Global Oncology products
Perform development and implementation of marketing tactics, tools, programs and alternative channels initiatives to support Global Oncology efforts targeted towards the following customers: Prescribers, Patients and Nurse.
Drive sales and brand equity
Life cycle management & new product portfolio development
Develop market positioning and strategy
Forecasting and A&P management
Medical education development
Functional focus of the role is promotional communication (branded and unbranded), development of tools and programs to multiple audiences, including sales force communications, physician, patients, nurses strategies and tactics
Evaluate brand performance against budget ensuring a cost effective allocation of resources: manage promotional budgets, and develop metrics to measure ROIs
Be a member of the cross-functional brand team, including chair internal legal, regulatory, and medical reviews of promotional content when applicable; coordinate planning and content development for external activities (Cancer awareness races, philanthropy, etc.)
Work successfully with cross-functional colleagues in all relevant departments across the organization
Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners, thought leaders, key customers and professional organizations, advocacy groups.
Work successfully with all vendors/agencies
Performs other duties as requested

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or life sciences
MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
Scientific degree is a plus

Professional Skills:
Successful track record in pharmaceutical marketing and/or sales with 5 + years relevant experience with increasing job responsibilities
Marketing or Sales experience preferred, 3-5 years of Oncology specific expertise a preferred
Candidates must possess the ability to proactively analyze business problems, identify key issues, develop strategic solutions, implement tactical programs, and design metrics to measure business impact.
Prior experience managing marketing/advertising/promotion budgets
Previous supervisory experience in marketing with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, influence and lead a plus
Evidence of good analytical skills, project planning and organizational skills required
Experience working with cross-functional groups made up of one or more of the following: Marketing, Sales, Research & Development, Medical Affairs, Business Development, Market Research, Life Cycle Management or Finance
Excellent communications, and vendor/agency management skills - Individual must possess the ability to build consensus in a matrix environment with multiple functional groups supporting the brand team.
Individual must possess the ability to proactively analyze business problems, identify key issues, develop strategic solutions, implement tactical programs and design metrics to measure business impact.
