Its lead product provides early detection of a widespread disease which normally does not exhibit symptoms until it has progressed to an advance stage; hence, this diagnostic test can initiate early intervention that could slow down or avoid further disease progression. The company is very excited about the uniqueness of this lead product and its potential to improve the lives of a large patient population. The company is committed to expanding its diagnostic and therapeutic impact by increasing its business activities and growing its pipeline. POSITION The Marketing Director is the marketing department leader. Establishes goals, policies, and procedures to maximize market share and revenue generation for unique, FDA approved, commercialized, high-value diagnostic. Train, coach, and develop department personnel. Identify new product opportunities for pipeline growth. Identify and develop new customers in the clinical and medical fields. Apply market research expertise to build competitive market insight; identify health and cost advantages by understanding needs, motivations, and priorities of targeted medical practitioners, healthcare service providers, and government and private payer organizations. Plan and manage marketing department budgets. Plan and implement marketing outreach efforts to increase company and product positioning and awareness among targeted customer communities; apply use of well-designated marketing-communication programs, presentations, exhibits, tradeshows, sales materials, PR efforts, etc. Work with medical affairs, sales, and other business functions to achieve departmental and company goals.
