Job Description:  Position Summary:

In this role, the Product Marketing Manager for CUBICIN Marketing is responsible for the strategy, messages, and tools needed by all field sales teams for target hospitals and specialists including the Infectious Disease Specialists, Hospitalists, and Pharmacists. This individual is responsible for supporting various channels across the brand, including personal and non-personal promotions and digital initiatives. The person is also responsible for discrete programs from concept to implementation to tracking/reporting. This role is a unique opportunity to lead the strategy and execution focused on a specific customer segments to drive CUBICIN, the most successful I.V. antibiotic launch in U.S. history, forward.

Key responsibilities include:



Strategy, messages and tools for grow/defend hospital targets

Strategy, messages and tools (new and existing) for all field teams focused in the hospital

Strategy, messages and tools to support messages and hospital prescribers on CUBICIN Speakers Bureau

Leverage existing tools and data for emerging hospital targets (grow/defend, Critical Access Hospitals, Community Non-Teaching Hospitals

Lead initiatives through Clearance

Lead Marketing Advisory Board

Serve as primary liaison to Sales Training and Initial Sales Training

Spend time in the field (at least 4 visits/year)

Primary point of contact with advertising agency

Work closely with other agency partners, including medical communications and digital



Minimum Basic Qualifications:



Bachelors degree required

Understanding of the industry regulatory and compliance landscape and emerging trends

Minimum of three years combined Marketing, Medical Affairs, or Sales experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry



Preferred Qualifications and Experience:



MBA preferred

Strong communication skills

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities required

Able to interact with all levels of the organization is crucial

Thrives working in the fast pace environment of Marketing and the Commercial organization

Experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Work Environment:



This position will be based in the Lexington office and requires significant interaction and collaboration with other Cubist functions (Sales, Sales Training, Regulatory, Legal, Medical, Decision Support, etc.) and external partners (advertising agency, medical communications, etc.)
