This position is to develop, implement and measure the annual tactical marketing plan for the North America region for existing products. The Regional Marketing Manager will focus on developing an annual marketing plan with quarterly implementation and review, working cross-functionally with Business Unit Marketing and North America Sales, in demand generation programs, identify and address market and competitive trends in the region, and provide sales support activities and tools in the region for the assigned product/market areas. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Gain and maintain an understanding of the regional market including funding sources and trends, key influencers and opinion leaders, compelling reasons to buy and purchasing behaviors for development of annual tactical marketing plan for the assigned product/market areas. Develop and implement regional campaign programs to create demand and generate leads through multi-channel, closed-loop campaigns (outbound, events, promotions, fulfillment activities). Prioritize marketing activities and investment in target market segments based on the size of the market opportunity, positioning, and resource availability. Execute marketing activities to support successful product launches in the region, including key opinion leader references, sales training, pricing/reimbursement, promotional plans, and sales support tools. Develop and monitor metrics to measure success of marketing campaigns against pre-defined objectives. Monitor sales trends, share best commercial practices and maintain market intelligence to provide ground-level marketing support. Monitor competition, develop and implement defense strategies at the account or sales district-level, in conjunction with the North America Sales team. Work with the Business Unit Marketing teams to articulate future market needs, provide regional customer input into product specifications, feedback competitive information and identify marketing tools requirements.
