As a Production Scientist on our Genetic Identity team you will be creating kits, reagents and other materials for distribution to our customers. Individuals in this position are responsible for maintaining reagent inventory, implementing new product offerings and manufacturing improvements, as well as creating a wide variety of components to meet production specifications. Requirements Successful candidates will have:
A Bachelors degree in the life sciences discipline with 2 plus years of experience as a Forensic Analyst or DNA Analyst
Experience with PCR and a proven ability to follow contamination controls
Experience with nucleic acid purification and quantitation
Experience with laboratory equipment related to amplification and capillary electrophoresis such as AB9700, AB3130 or AB3500
Experience with manufacturing processes and working knowledge of highly regulated environments such as ISO13485 and cGMP highly desired
Proficient computer skills for the collection and analysis of experimental data
