The Director of Serada Marketing is responsible for developing and leading marketing strategies and tactics for the Serada program at Depomed. The position will be a Brand Champion for Serada which includes overseeing the product and brand management function for the programs, and managing Depomeds commercial sales relationships in this product area. This position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing. Responsibilities: Lead the development, communication, and implementation of effective product marketing strategies and tactics that result in the achievement of product performance goals. Support the development and implementation of product and franchise marketing plans, including brand plans, lifecycle plans and portfolio analysis. Participate in aligning product forecasting, manufacturing planning, and product P&L expectations. Provide analysis and action plans related to market research and secondary data for assigned brands. Evaluate and develop promotional material, including facilitation of approval and management of third party agencies and vendors. Collaborate with commercial planning function to determine product and research needs, ensuring projects meet objectives and timelines to develop optimally positioned and branded products for the future. Oversee new product launch activities, effectively utilizing in-house and partner resources for maximum market penetration and sales ramp-up. Oversee product and brand management for the Serada program. Develop thought leaders, KOLs and establish relationships with patient advocacy associations in the Womens Health arena. Lead the creation and delivery of appropriate field sales resources to enable optimal customer call effectiveness. Lead the coordination of key marketing activities and timely communications with other commercial functions including sales and managed care, and ensure a broad consensus regarding marketing strategy and tactics throughout the commercial team. Represent the Product Marketing function in project teams to ensure that senior management decision-making supports the companys commercial goals. Work closely with business development and commercial planning functions supporting partnership, collaboration and in-licensing opportunity evaluations. Effectively represent the companys interests in co-promotional arrangements or direct promotion activities in the field. Develop and manage budgets and project timelines for assigned programs. Provide excellent leadership, mentoring, and career development for employees in the marketing department. Requirements Bachelors degree in Science, Business, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred. |
