The Global Customer Solutions New Product Transfer Manager leads all aspects of new product development and product launch within Customer Solutions and is directly accountable for the results. Responsibilities include achieving goals for mean time to install, cost, quality, product reliability, and spares availability upon release, customer satisfaction both internal and external. The New Product Transfer Manager is responsible for also managing a team of individual which act s core team member representing customer solution in each release. Specific responsibilities include:1.Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary. 2.Reviews project service and support plans to determine time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. 3.Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. 4.Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies. 5.Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications. 6.Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones, Project Analysis.7.Establishes a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews 8.Prepares project reports for management, client, or others. 9.Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction. 10.Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff. 11.Responsible for the successful completion of the project. Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Management experience- Having managed personnel and helping the team to set SMART goals and be able to track those goals and report monthly to executive management.Problem solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Delegation - Matches the responsibility to the person when delegating work assignments. Sets expectations and monitors delegated activities and provides recognition for results. Business Acumen - Understands business implications of decisions and demonstrates knowledge of market and competition. Aligns work with strategic goals. Ethics - Treats people with respect and keeps commitments. Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.
