JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS: Provides leadership, technical supervision, training, direction, and coaching to Plate Coating and Glass Wash Operations. A strong emphasis on quality is required. Responsible for product compliance with documented specifications in a technically and operationally complex and high volume manufacturing environment. Responds appropriately to required schedule changes. Good Manufacturing Practices and other FDA compliance requirements. Coaches, trains staff, and prepares production schedules. Completes and delivers annual performance reviews. Provides technical expertise for assigned areas. Responsible for departmental expenses and work order variance review.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience. Eight plus years related experience with two plus years supervisory experience in GMP and FDA regulated environments. Requires ability to interface professionally with senior management, auditors, and vendors. Ability to manage complex operations. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem solving skills. Ability to analyze laboratory production processes and data along with good mathematical skills. Strong computer and administrative skills including spreadsheets, knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and inventory control programs. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively supervise and work with teams.
