Sr. Web Channel Marketing Manager or Web Channel Marketing ManagerSupport the development of strategic and tactical initiatives encompassing the web channels in conjunction with the qPCR Market Development team and execute the media and web channel plan in support of the business's strategic objectives. Essential Functions:Web channel Identify, propose & develop new opportunities to generate increased site traffic, improve conversions and drive higher on-line purchasing globally. Implement keyword discovery & expansion and develop content for optimized SEO and SEM strategies. Maximize synergies between paid and natural search campaigns. Research and analyze competitor advertising links. Serve as a resource for the Genomics Technologies market development team on interactive media and internet trends and developments, including interactive industry trends and competitive activity online. Social Media Develop and publish internal strategies for social media projects and technologies in conjunction with the qPCR Market Development managers to meet critical business needs. Coordinate and lead online media outreach and viral campaigns that increase awareness and/or drive traffic to the relevant pages on web site. Develop and manage pages on popular consumer social networking websites (i. e. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Second Life, etc) to increase product and brand awareness and drive traffic to the Invitrogen site. Identify and report on digital/social media trends. Educate team on the implementation and use of new technologies. Metrics Create profitability analysis and ROI/Economic Value modeling for single initiatives as well as periodic roll-ups to measure the results and engagement of social and web channel activities. Track and monitor the success of online initiatives (i. e. impressions, reach and influence), and provide reports for the team. Drive the creation of best practices that arise from the analytics.
