Job Description: 

Roche offers products and services for diagnostic testing by medical professionals in physician offices and outpatient clinics, as well as for patient self-testing. We develop a variety of diagnostics tools that are easy to use and provide fast results, such as portable urine analyzers, small benchtop clinical chemistry analyzers that offer a broad test menu, and CoaguChek handheld anticoagulation monitors, which are used to test blood clotting time for patients on Coumadin therapy.

As a Product Marketing Manager you will be accountable for providing primary leadership in Key strategic initiatives to expand the Point of Care Diagnostics, Physician Office Lab business. By using your clinical expertise in diagnostics testing, along with medical marketing you will develop clinical and market business cases, drive product development requirements, and develop and lead the execution of go-to-market strategies. Leading the execution of go-to-market strategies includes sales tool development to communicate clinical value, distribution partner tactics, tradeshows, advertising, clinical education materials, and innovative programs to drive adoption.

To be successful in this role you will:

* Develop business area mastery to include understanding of market segments, business model, analysis of key metrics that define success, forecasting sales and product, share performance, trends, competition, customer critical success factors and needs through interaction with customers for integration with programs.
* Identify and articulate US market needs for global product development focus, including assistance/coordination of US market segment input.
* Develop business plans and go-to-market strategies for new product opportunities.
* Support and contribute to market quantification and customer segmentation, sales pathways process, and development/execution of pricing and distribution strategies as well as AOP (Annual Operating Plan) development and execution and budget tracking and monitoring.
* Advise and manage stakeholders by reporting on special projects, business challenges and opportunities to senior management.
* Lead commercialization activities for product lines in the US marketplace according to local regulatory and quality requirements.
* Develop marketing messaging and promotional campaigns that support the clinical and economic value of the product line.
* Forecast market demand in alignment with market needs and business focus.
* Support field sales teams to meet customer needs and growth goals.

Requirements

You also:

* Have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field, including Life Sciences. MBA preferred.
* Have 5 years experience in medical product marketing experience including understanding of marketing products in a regulated environment.
* Have medical device product/lifecycle management experience. Clinical expertise in the area of point of care diagnostics and/or physician office lab or hospital environment is desired.
* Have exceptional cross-functional team leadership.
* Are ableto influence across multiple stakeholders to ensure business needs are met and/or exceeded.
* Are able to independently make decisions and recommendations that represent and are aligned with the overall business and product portfolio strategy.
* Are able to drive multiple projects with multiple priorities, as well as havethe ability to strategically think through complex opportunities.
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including presentation skills.

* Reside in Indianapolis, IN or are willing to relocate.
