Product Manager Forensics/Genetic Identity
Promega Corporation is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our global marketing team. This position is responsible for planning and executing product strategy, sales support for our growing Genetic Identity product portfolio. Requirements Successful candidates will have:
An inherent curiosity and sincere interest in helping crime labs around the globe improve and advance the technology used for human identification via DNA and RNA
An M.S. or Ph.D. in life sciences with concentrated training in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology
Strong portfolio management and / or proven product management experience in molecular biology reagents and/or analytical instruments
Strong experience in managing products throughout the product life cycle
The ability to develop customer-focused requirements in language appropriate for internal design and execution. Excellent public speaking skills to represent Promega at external meetings, conferences, and organizations and the ability to present high level information to multiple audiences based on analysis and facts
The ability to effectively develop trust, respect, and cooperation across all areas of the organization and staff levels and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
Willingness and enthusiasm to travel globally as needed
