Job Description: 

Successful candidate will provide cross-functional team leadership while managing marketing initiatives and supportive activities, which include the following:
Providing commercial insight and direction to optimize initiatives in a new product launch setting
Analyzing data and making strategic recommendations.
Contributing to the development of departmental objectives and timelines, and through the efforts of multi-functional business partners, ensuring these are met.
Participating with other departments during planning and process improvement activities to ensure timely completion of all operational areas objectives and milestones.
Participating in project analyses, developing and implementing solutions for a variety of complex problems.
Contributing to the development of department budget and monitoring expenditures.
Managing third-party vendors.

Functional Responsibilities (may be expanded, based on candidate capabilities):
Field Resources & Deployment proactively partner with marketing, sales management and other functional colleagues to identify, develop and maintain new tools and processes for use by the sales force.
Technology Initiatives provide commercial insight and strategic guidance on development projects for user- interface websites.
Meetings Management manage all in-house preparations and vendor activities for industry Conventions and Congresses as well as large-scale internal meetings; partner with cross-functional colleagues to design the annual plans for and the content to be delivered at these respective meetings.
Budget & Contract Management liaise with Marketing and Finance colleagues to forecast, track and reconcile department spending; navigate internal systems to rout and track vendor contracts and invoices and to ensure proper disposition thereof.

Requirements

Bachelors degree required. MBA or equivalent (2-3 years tenure at a top-tier management consulting firm) preferred.
5-7 years of related commercial experience in a cGMP/FDA regulated industry with at least 2 years of extensive interaction with field sales organization (preferably in oncology and/or urology)
Experience leading and influencing cross-functional colleagues on multiple, simultaneous projects within a matrix organization.
Experience leading direct reports in implementing department strategy.
Experience in developing and making formal presentations to senior management.
Robust project management skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
