Responsible for the development and management of Novation implementation strategies and tactics for a portfolio of IV Access products in the US and the supporting initiatives required to grow the business.
As a critical member of the US Access Marketing Team, this team member will have primary leadership responsibility for the following:
1. Novation customer on-boarding strategy and implementation plan to include:
* Developing custom training programs and tools necessary for seamlessly transitioning customers from competitive set and component platforms to Baxter.
* Develop field and customer education modules to position Access and Infusion Systems for success in critical areas such as: *
* DEHP vs. Non-DEHP
* PVC vs. Non-PVC
* Local and regional legislation that factors heavily into decision-making
* Standard sets vs. cassette based sets
2. Continuously monitor and analyze competitor trends and strategies to ensure maximum profitable and contract compliance.
3. Serve as Access team lead for all Novation activities including:
* Develop and implement customer retention strategy
* Primary point of contact for deal creation and integration across USMD
* Oversee field and customer communication plan
* Develop and champion Novation marketing plan
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement Novation marketing plan strategies to ensure maximum profitability and growth.
2. Review and correct product prices.
3. Evaluate and approve proposals.
4. Assist with sales support activities related to Access products and services.
5. Develop and execute Novation account target strategy, in conjunction with the sales management team.
6. Assist in the annual budget process.
7. Develop and cultivate professional relationships with key customers and thought-leaders
8. Influence the product development cycle including working closely with R&D, quality, regulatory, and sales.
9. Participate in the competitive intelligence process.
10. Other projects and duties outlined by Director, Marketing. Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree a plus. 5-8 years experience in marketing. Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience is a benefit.
Qualifications: Ability to understand market trends, financial data, customer needs and assess competitive intelligence data. Skilled in the areas of pricing, reimbursement, messaging, branding, and creative product/program development. Solid business acumen, as well as project management and leadership. Strong results orientation. Self-motivated, excellent writing and analytical skills, as well as excellent people interaction skills.
