As a Marketing Managerfor the Life Science business, you willdevelop and execute strategy and tacticsin alignmentwith Roche Applied Scienceplans and objectives. To be successful in this role you will:

* Be responsible for developing business and marketing plans for new product launches and existing product lines, including pricing strategies, market positioning, sales plans, and implementation strategies. Drives and evaluates market research, promotions, and advertising associated with assigned brands or products.

* Drive the process for the business area annual operating plan; development and implementation of tactics through program management and sales meetings; evaluation of tactics performance with metrics through business reviews; and effective utilization and communication with internal partners and/or external agencies.

* Be involved in translating global strategy into local marketing programs and translating market and customer requirements into product solutions for global teams.

* Manage resources and budget to target for all assigned programs with proactive communication on issues and opportunities.

* Work with Sales and Marketing management, global partners, business development and local sales teams to create continuously alignment for business strategy and tactics.

* Advise and manages stakeholders by reporting on special projects, business challenges and opportunities to senior management.

* Instill leadership through others by acting as a role model to drive impactful business solutions and positive change, encouraging, motivating and empowering others and helping others to success.

* Develop business area mastery to include understanding of business model, analysis of key metrics that define success, forecasting sales and product, share performance, trends, competition, customer critical success factors and needs through interaction with customers for integration with programs.

* Manage and supports the assigned segments/product lines including but not limited to forecasting, pricing, back-orders management, and launch management implementation.

* Work with functional groups in the US and global organizations.

* Assess new market opportunities in collaboration with management. May lead the development of business case and present to senior management. Executes on approved marketing strategies.

This position is located in Roche Diagnostics Headquarters in Indianapolis, IN. Seeking for candidates residing in Indianapolis, IN or willing to relocate to this location

Requirements

You also

* Have a Bachelors Degree in Life Science, Business, Marketing, or related field with an MBA degree (required).

* Have 5+ years marketing/sales experience in life science industry.

* Have 2 years of marketing experience.

* Have experience or knowledge in molecular biology.

* Are able to drive multiple projects with multiple priorities is essential; as is the ability to strategically think through complex opportunities.

* Strong interpersonal; skills and demonstrated effectiveness leading in a team environment across multiple disciplines and functions, and with external partners.

* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including presentation skills.

* Are someone who is looking for a professional career and to expand your horizons within the organization
