SUMMARY
Baxter BioPharma Solutions (BPS) offers commercial manufacturing services for injectable and high potency drugs to a broad range of pharma clients across the globe.
The Group Marketing Manager position has three main responsibilities:
Lead BPS strategy implementation projects creating new services and capabilities for BPS
Lead the marketing efforts for the EP3 Franchise (B2B Enhanced Packaging) to develop marketing plans and new deal opportunities working with Sales to advance a portfolio of deals to fruition
Managerial oversight for molecule targeting, market research and forecasting conducted within the BPS marketing group
Scope of responsibility includes working with the Sr. Director of Marketing to provide strategic development and implementation of BPS business relationships, new molecule pipeline, service capabilities and new medication delivery/formulation technologies across the BPS business.
Manages and directs a Sr. Manager responsible for understanding the industry injectable molecule pipeline leading molecule targeting and new deal opportunity development across BPS.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead implementation of BPS business strategy across the BPS business unit.
2. Leads identification, development and implementation of strategic product & service capabilities, alliances and possible acquisitions that will enhance the strategic position of BPS.
3. Manage one report focused on molecule targeting and lifecycle planning process to maintain a fully valued pipeline of molecule targets to meet BPS business pipeline objectives.
4. Serve as marketing leader for the EP3 Franchise (B2B Enhanced Packaging) focused on developing and leading EP3 deals to fruition leveraging Sales' responsibility for executing the client relationship and deal.
5. Lead development, execution and findings implementation of important competitive intelligence and market research activities supporting the BPS business unit. Requirements MBA required with minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in health-care/pharma industry. Proven track record in successfully leading and implementing market and opportunity development projects and influencing the organization to move in new directions. Experience in services marketing in technology businesses a plus.
Well demonstrated business development, strategic planning and business acumen skills. Solid track record in leading strategic marketing initiatives to successful completion leveraging organizational resources (internal and external resources). Pragmatism in transforming strategy into action is essential.
Strong ability to understand and influence organizational and client direction using market trends, financial data, customer needs, and competitive intelligence data.
