Our current AlloMap product is a test used to help in the management of heart transplant patients. Job Profile: XDx is seeking a Director of Marketing who will be responsible for defining brand and product strategies, along with their development and implementation. The director will also be accountable for commercial and pipeline marketing, interacting with internal departments, field personnel, and external customers and patients. Responsibilities:
Define brand and product strategies Interpret and understand market and competition Gather, identify, and prioritize functional and product requirements Prepare and review marketing collateral Cultivate and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders ( KOLs), clinicians, and other key customers and stakeholders Create demand and sales forecasts partnering with Sales and Finance Provide field sales education materials and training including product positioning Develop and evaluate pricing and health economic models Leverage and respond to managed care implications Manage and/or collaborate with ad agencies and PR firms Plan and execute events/trade shows Develop promotional and marketing plans Conduct market research primary, secondary, targeting, segmentation, analytics Support Field Sales organization with a significant level of teamwork and customer commitment Create and manage the patient advocacy program Lead and mentor those in the marketing organization Requirements MBA. Undergraduate degree in life sciences, molecular biology, or clinical science preferred Successful track record in diagnostic/device marketing with 10+ years of relevant experience in roles of increasing responsibility Experience working in Marketing under FDA design control, CLIA, or other regulatory body required Demonstrated success in launching FDA 510(k) cleared or approved products Experience managing teams and direct reports Ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams Demonstrated experience creating and managing a robust patient education/advocacy program Proven track record in performing well in a fast pace environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively Demonstrated social media experience with strong understanding of key trends and the technology Excellent written and oral communication skills Some travel required
