Promega Corporation is seeking an experienced marketing professional to join our Global Marketing team. This position will develop, plan, monitor, and communicate worldwide strategic marketing strategies for the Pharma/Biotech/Cell Biology product portfolio and its key customer groups. The individual may also have accountability for product management activities associated with the portfolio. Requirements Successful candidates will have:
An MBA or equivalent business and marketing experience and a BS in a life science or related field.
Three or more years experience in life science marketing management, preferably in the field of Cell Biology
An in depth understanding of marketing functions including strategic and tactical marketing, marketing communications, market research, product management, distribution channels, competitive intelligence and customer relationship management.
The ability to successfully create and implement strategic marketing plans to various complex product portfolios.
Excellent public speaking skills to represent Promega at external meetings, conferences and organizations and the ability to present high level information to multiple audiences based on data analysis and facts.
The ability to execute sound judgment, analyze issues, provide strategic thinking, and create and use innovative ideas.
The ability to effectively develop trust, respect, and cooperation across all areas of the organization and staff levels and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
The experience and ability to manage one or more line reports providing them direction, coaching, motivation, and developing their careers to the benefit of the company.
