This position will have responsibility for management of physician loyalty programs, professional and consumer database(s), individual brand CRM initiatives and other relationship marketing programs for the U.S. Allergan Medical Portfolio of Products, including Facial Aesthetics and Breast Aesthetics. Responsibilities also include strategic web initiatives and extensive coordination with the Sales Force to ensure effective implementation of programs and communication strategies. The position requires analytical thinking, database: development, management and business rules acumen. Requires agency/vendor management, excellent project management skills in order to effectively work with internal and external stakeholders to meet timelines and comply with internal and industry-based policies. Additionally, the position includes leadership across multiple functions. Critical to this role will be the strict and consistent adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines, and the ability to focus on long-term viability and success.
The Product Manager of Database and CRM will lead and champion the practice of professional relationship marketing, management of the Allergan Medical CRM database(s); develop, execute, and evaluate singular product CRM programs as part of the overall interactive plan supporting specific marketing objectives for U.S. and event marketing integration. It requires a sound understanding of current and emerging interactive vehicles such as relationship marketing, campaign management tools, direct to consumer communication, branded websites, acquisition, loyalty, direct marketing, digital marketing, and newly emerging trends. This position will work closely with the Portfolio CRM Product Manager to ensure full integration where applicable and maximize investment strategies and ROI. Development, implementation, and ongoing management of Professional, loyalty programs, individual brand consumer relationship marketing initiatives, and CRM database management.
Maintains a customer focus that includes partnering with physicians to improve patient retention and loyalty, ultimately demonstrating the value that Allergan is bringing to physician practices. Includes strategic planning in regards to consumer loyalty initiatives, and ongoing monitoring of performance metrics.
Implement best practice standards for database and campaign management.
Extensive coordination with Sales Force to implement programs and communications strategies and with Brand teams (Facial and Breast Aesthetics) to integrate programs where appropriate.
Must clearly understand objectives, positioning and messaging strategies for each of the product teams in order to identify opportunities for integration across the portfolio.
Must clearly understand database development and associated business rules to maximize individual product and portfolio CRM initiatives.
Coordination with other internal stakeholders - particularly Legal, Regulatory, and IT, to ensure tactics are compliant with internal and industry-driven policies and standards.
Management of agency partners to ensure projects are implemented with the highest level of quality, within agreed upon timelines, and according to agreed upon budgets.
Continuous monitoring of performance metrics, including thorough review and interpretation of monthly metrics reports. Collaboration with Market
Analytics team and Agency partners to identify and understand trends and to recommend program adjustments as deemed necessary to meet long-term goals and objectives.
Rigorous management of Expense Budgets and, where appropriate, Sales Forecasts.
Conducts quarterly variance analysis and continuously monitors expenses to ensure they are in-line with quarterly and annual budgets. Identifies changes in market or program conditions which would lead to favorable/unfavorable variance to budget/forecast. Requirements Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in related field, MBA Preferred 2+ years Customer Relationship Marketing and/or eMarketing experience is strongly preferred, including database relationship marketing program design and management. Experience using web analytics to develop customer targeted segmentation strategies, loyalty programs and to create forecasts, tests, and key metrics in order to measure actual results. Experience working in or with pharmaceutical/Medical device marketing is highly desired
