Baxters BioScience division is a leading producer of both plasma-based and recombinant clotting factors for hemophilia, as well as biopharmaceuticals used to treat immune deficiencies, alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency and other blood-related disorders. Baxter also produces vaccines for the prevention of infectious diseases, as well as biosurgery products used for homeostasis and tissue-sealing in surgery. We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to support our flagship brand, GAMMAGARD, in BioTherapeutics that has a plan to exceed $1B in sales in 2010. There is significant opportunity to grow the GAMMAGARD business over the coming years. Responsibilities will include:
* Strong ability to assess & optimize Payor & Channel Market; Customer listening and Insight Generation * An expert grasp of the market and competitive dynamics * Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement commercial strategies, convert these into tactical marketing plans and deliver results * Optimize Gammagard in the Payor & Channel space through strong marketing programs and the right marketing mix. * Develop and execute slope-shifting tactics * Lead and collaborate cross-functionally with Business Alliance, Marketing, Sales, Medical, etc. * Proven ability to build strong relationships with key customers and industry thought leaders. * Provide Payor and Channel Marketing direction to the Gammagard Marketing Team while delivering large and/or multiple marketing projects and influencing business Requirements * Payor and Channel Experience with strong insights into key customers and stakeholders including payors, specialty pharmacies, GPOs, biological distributors, and government.
* Skills in the areas of pricing, reimbursement, messaging, branding, and creative program development.
* Good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities
* Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and foster an environment around teamwork and collaboration.
* Ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing
* Ability to understand market trends, financial data, and customer needs and assess competitive intelligence data.
* Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years marketing experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry with a demonstrated record of success.
