Regional Marketing Specialist III Position Summary: The Regional Marketing role at all levels incorporates two core role components defined as; 'Voice of the Customer' - systematically incorporating customer feedback and market trends to the segment product management process and 'Marketing Partner to the Field' - translating segment strategy (profile & positioning) into an execution plan for the field. With the responsibility of the sterile filtration product line, this senior level position requires complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards associated with the sterile filtration franchise and the Regional Marketing role. Position Responsibilities: As the 'Voice of the Customer', in alignment with Global Product Management, collect and organize feedback from the field and the market. This regional data will then be incorporated into Global strategies. o For the sterile filtration business franchise, provide local input to global annual marketing plans o Participate in new product development; active participation and commitment to sterile filtration product portfolio planning and short/long term segment strategy o Support complex product change notifications for communication and implementation As the 'Marketing Partner to the Field', translate sterile filtration programs into local marketing and execution plans for sales including: o Create and execute regional Tactical Plans based on Global Marketing plan o Drive development of local sales tools as needed o Coordinate Customer Collaboration Projects o Identify and Guide towards New Opportunities partnered with sales o Drive and track new product seeding o Coordinate and/or participate in necessary seminars, conferences, and/or tradeshows o Influence strategy related to pricing, positioning, and segments o Coordinate process consulting activities with applications engineering as needed o Execute regional product or solution positioning content and salesforce training Requirements Regional Marketing Specialist III Experience: o Generally requires a BS with at least 8 years of directly related experience. Competencies (Knowledge & Skills): o Be: Customer-focused, agile & adaptable, proactive/action-oriented, intellectually curious, assertive & influential o Know: Competition & market landscape, customer strategy, organization and process, Millipore products/services/solutions, Millipore strategy & organization, product/solution positioning & marketing, Biopharm process, sales process o Do: Build strategic working relationships, communicate (inform/listen/present), consult/conceptualize/market solutions, design & deliver presentations & sales tools, innovate on behalf of the customer, prioritize and organize work. |
