Marketing Manager Protein Portfolio Business

Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a highly talented Marketing Manager to join our expanding and dynamic Marketing team working within our growing Protein business.
Opportunity: Currently, we are looking for a strong Marketing Manager, specifically with Life Science background to work with our fast growing Purified Protein collection which recently launched 5,000 purified proteins Human HEK293 cells.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the growth of this product line and have a high level of visibility within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop strategic and tactical marketing plan for responsible product area.
Monitor revenue results. Increase product sales by executing marketing plan through various communication channels including direct mail, email, web seminars, web and print advertising, tradeshows and public relations.
Coordinates with Industry associations, Pharmaceutical and Academic institutions to drive product awareness and product sales
Closely monitor competitive activities and new product introduction. Develop timely marketing activities to counter competition.
Work with R&D team to develop and prioritize R&D projects. Work with project team leaders to ensure smooth product development and launch.
Close interaction with key opinion leaders in respective research field. Discover new research trends and unmet market needs.
Ability to develop and implement a business plan and drive key strategic initiatives with the goal of achieving revenue targets.
Identifies strategic tradeshows/events for speaking opportunities and other levels of participation. Monitor, analyze and adjust campaigns in order to improve effectiveness.
Planning, Prioritizing, Goal Setting: Able to work under tight deadlines and determine project urgency in a meaningful and practical way; use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans.
Report on campaign results and lead generation activity.
Position requirements, qualifications, and experiences:
Minimum education: Must have BA/BS in biology or related fields. Advanced degrees MBA strongly preferred.
At least 5 years life science research experience. Ideal candidate should have hands-on experience protein expression, functional analysis, cell biology. Mass Spectrometry and Assay Development are a plus. Also Prior laboratory bench experience is preferred.
At least 3 years experience in life science industry marketing, marketing communications, and product management. Should have experience with Market Research and Marketing Analytics. Prior sales experience is a plus.
Able to perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as demands change; manage transitions effectively from task to task; adapt to varying customer and business needs as well as be able to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Team player and customer focused. Willing to go the extra mile to meet customer needs.
Strong PC Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of OriGene products preferred.
Ability to travel 15% to 20% may be required to represent the company at tradeshows or events. Requirements About OriGene Technologies and its Culture:
