The Manager of Services Marketing will assume global marketing responsibility for Illumina's FastTrack services business, CLIA services, Illumina CSPro Program and overall segment responsibility for the Core Lab/Service Provider market segment. This individual will work to develop business plans, develop and implement portfolio and pricing strategies, marketing messaging, sales tools and promotions and liaise external relationships with key customers. Job Responsibilities: Develop the annual marketing plan - working across multiple groups and geographies to obtain input and develop the plan.Drive the development of and execution of that plan, implement and track activities, adjusting as needed to maximize effectiveness.Work with field marketing to ensure successful regionalization of plansDevelop tools, promotions and training for the Sales Team.Work collaboratively across product and functional groups to identify new business opportunities and product offerings.Carry revenue accountability for the Services Business and work with sales to ensure targets are met.Manage and develop the Illumina CSPro Certified Service Provider Program to support key business objectives.Serve as an expert on customer behaviors, needs and responses to programs in the specific business areas.Travel with local sales representatives to help implement go-to-market programs and better understand customer needs.Deliver presentations in support of the sales process as needed.Requirements: Experience developing and implementing successful marketing plans in life sciences or pharmaceutical market.Proven track-record of strong performance in interacting with customers and various internal organizations.Ability to understand, synthesize and present unmet customer needs for the development of market strategies and programs.Exceptional communications skills - with a proven ability to influence at all levels across an organization.Strong initiative, problem-solving ability and sense of ownership when driving projects to completion.Must be able to think creatively and to implement effectively.Team player with proven ability to work in a highly matrixed environment and to lead successful teams and projects.Education: Bachelor's degree in the biological sciences, chemistry, genetics or other related field. MBA or other related degree highly desirable.Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in marketing and/or product management in life sciences. Sales and/or services experience highly desirable.
