Job Description: 

This is a hands-on Leadership and Innovative Opportunity! The leader will have the ability to affect change, develop people, motivate and have a stamp on what will impact the Life Sciences industry!

With extensive experience in OEM manufacturing and comprehensive quality processes, Biotix is the ideal partner for the design of unique and distinctive product lines to match your stringent life science industry and market distribution requirements. The Biotix manufacturing plant is ISO certified and located in Baja, Mexico.

Purpose of role:
Work with key executive leadership staff members, as well as with sales, product development teams, including domestic and international distribution partners to develop, lead, execute and implement the companys marketing strategies, market/competitive analysis, product promotions, and new product introductions/commercialization.

1.Drive the development and implementation of the Companys global Marketing Plan, working with Product Development, Sales, Engineering and other internal customers. Participate in on-going reviews of implementation of the sales/marketing plans as it relates to budgets and manufacturing capacity.
2.In conjunction with the Sales Department coordinate the process of identifying and analyzing new business opportunities and/or identify potential acquisition candidates.
3.Develop and maintain a network of relationships with key decision makers within the companys potential customer base, competitors, and Governmental and Regulatory agencies.
4.Develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of the environment (e.g. technical, political and scientific factors etc.) affecting the companys markets.
5.Drive and execute provision of product and market knowledge to support sales activities through customer and end user visits, training, etc.
6.Drive and execute market analysis; gathering, collating, analyzing, and disseminating market information relating to trends, sizes, technology, competitors, pricing, regulatory factors, and environmental influences.
7.Develop and execute e-commerce strategy that is in line and support of the companys 1-5 year plan.
8.Work in conjunction with the product development team and other sales/operations/engineering staff to identify new product/business opportunities and present recommendations to key leadership staff.
9.Work with relevant teams to develop and implement specific Neptune and Biotix brand promotional strategies and campaigns to support the companys sales activities on a domestic and global basis.
10.Manage the departments resources and expenses in accordance with budget.
11.Assist other departments/divisions as need is identified or as assigned by supervisor with a positive attitude in a spirit of teamwork.

Requirements

Job Specifications:
1.B.A. /B.S., in Marketing, preferred.
2.Minimum of seven (7) years of commercial sales/marketing/business development experience commercializing research and/or FDA regulated products and/or services to the life sciences industry.
3.Minimum three (3) years of demonstrated leadership/management experience in marketing at a commercial management level.
4.Extensive network of contacts at middle management and senior executive level within at least one of the Corporations industry.
5.Previous experience in developing and implementing marketing plans including brand management, e-commerce, promotional strategy and identifying new product opportunities.
6.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to present material in a clear, concise manner appropriate to the level of the audience.
7.Excellent organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage projects.
8.Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer software in a business environment. Microsoft Office preferred.
9.Experience in commercializing products in a regulated environment, preference for FDA regulated market knowledge or ISO related experience.
10.Ability to work and meet deadlines in a fast paced and challenging environment.
