Marketing Communications Specialist

Position Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and execute innovative communication strategies consistent with strategic and tactical business unit plans to increase market leadership position, visibility and generate quality leads.
- Create all divisional web content and social media guidelines in alignment with divisional eBusiness strategy and marketing priorities
- Ensure alignment and integration of key communication elements, including print, electronic, internet and trade shows in all communication campaigns.
- Prioritize and manage projects as well as develop, maintain and track budgets.
- Maintain consistency with corporate brand standards as well as divisional and business unit positioning and messaging.
- Effectively produce and coordinate all marketing communication tools (brochures, data sheets, direct mail, tradeshow panels, promotional materials, presentations, web, etc.) including writing, artwork, photography, printing, mailing and tracking.
- Evaluate success (ROI/effectiveness/quality) of Marcom programs.
- Act as a strategic consultative partner with business managers, marketing, sales and R&D in developing communication strategies aligned with the global and local business strategies.
- Manage vendors and negotiate contracts to meet budget expectations.

- A self starter with a demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, matrixed organization with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a team environment and facilitate cross-group collaboration.
- A high level of energy, commitment and passion for results combined with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate and consult with sales and marketing teams and corporate partners on campaigns, messaging and tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge of B2B marketing communication best practices including advertising, websites, collateral, selling tools, promotional materials and metrics.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry and familiarity with application areas.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree required (in Marketing, Business or Communications related field).
- Advanced degree and/or life science industry background preferred.
- Strong organizational, project and time management skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines within budget.
- 5+ years related experience, with at least 1- 2 years experience within a communications and or marketing department or within an agency.
- 30% International Travel Required (Predominantly France)
