In this role you will be developing and implementing the marketing plan, including strategies, tactics, and budget, for Retin-A Micro to achieve corporate goals and objectives for Ortho Dermatologics . Major Duties include: Comply with policies, procedures, and quality standards of Ortho Dermatologics as well as safety and environmental regulations; Manage the marketing mix for Retin-A Micro; Define and propose a winning strategy to achieve short-term and long-term objectives for the brand; Develop and implement successful plans-of-action, including medical, media, and promotional activities; Facilitate successful review of marketing materials in the copy approval process; Perform analysis and thoughtful recommendations based on available syndicated data and other secondary market research sources; Recommend, develop and implement reliable primary market research plans including exploratory research and concept testing; Provide relevant tools, information, samples and programs to support sales force efforts toward target audiences; Participate in product life cycling strategy through cross-functional activities with R&D and Clinical Teams; Further advocacy development in conjunction with Medical Affairs; Monitor operational activities and Phase IV activities related to Retin-A Micro; and Utilize internal data reporting systems to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of performance to objective. Additional Duties Include: Participate on ad hoc strategic projects, including opportunity assessments, acquisitions, and convergence opportunities with other Johnson & Johnson operating companies; Foster cross-functional teamwork between Marketing at Ortho Dermatologics and other members of the Consumer Division to facilitate the continuation of a desirable global culture; Participate in Marketing group activities to improve efficiency and processes across the company; and ensure a unified brand image and message throughout all advertising, packaging; and promotional efforts. Requirements The Sr. Brand Manager will be responsible for developing sales forecasts for the brand, co-ordinate promotional activities with sales management and provide support for sales training with updates as needed; support franchise team cross-functional activities and execute company promotional activities at company conventions. The Sr. Brand Manager will lead commercial marketing in planning and execution of commercial tactics and be responsible for budget maintenance to support financial objectives and track and monitor monthly performance to formulate and recommend course corrections as necessary. Will interact with Research and Development in the development of long term strategic product and franchise planning as well as the financial justification for key internal or external product development activities.
