Synteract is a full-service contract research organization (CRO), dedicated to meeting the various clinical development needs of the biotechnology, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries. We have provided clinical trial services on several hundred studies on over 40,000 patients to over 80 commercial clients, including all phases and across a wide range of therapeutic areas, such as oncology, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, CNS, and virology. We are located atop the beautiful flower fields of Carlsbad, in North San Diego County.
In this position you will contribute to the Companys business development initiatives by seeking new outsourcing opportunities and acquiring new contracts from Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Biotechnology clients to manage all aspects of their clinical trial activities.
You will research and identify potential new clients; call on prospective new clients to introduce capabilities and therapeutic experience in an effort to create new business relationships; develop project proposals, generate detailed cost, timeline, and scope of work analysis; support communications projects in the areas of advertising and promotional programs, public relations and trade shows, including Internet-based communications. In addition, you may develop, lead, and/or participate in both general capability and proposal presentations to the study sponsor; collaborate with Business Team members to plan, develop and produce promotional tools and communication vehicles to support corporate marketing and sales efforts and/or participate in the development of plans for service promotion in support of sales and marketing objectives.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field of study and 3-5 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Industry experience or in-depth knowledge is preferred.
