Baxters BioScience division is a leading producer of both plasma-based and recombinant clotting factors for hemophilia, as well as biopharmaceuticals used to treat immune deficiencies, alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency and other blood-related disorders.
* Baxter also produces vaccines for the prevention of infectious diseases, as well as biosurgery products used for homeostasis and tissue-sealing in surgery.
* Baxter BioScience's breadth and depth of expertise in recombinant protein manufacturing, plasma fractionation and proprietary Vero-cell vaccine manufacturing technologies set it apart from other companies in these fields.
*We are looking for a BioTherapeutics Territory Business Manager for Portland, OR who will be responsible for selling hospital based therapies for the BioTherapeutics sales team for the BioScience division.
* Baxters Gammagard product is indicated for the treatment of primary immunodeficiency disorders associated with defects in humoral immunity.
* Aralast is our product used to treat Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency (a1-antitrypsin deficiency, A1AD or Alpha-1) which is a genetic disorder.
* Call points include Immunologists, Pulmonologists and Hematologists to differentiate our products from our competitors.
* The BioTherapeutics Territory Business Manager will be responsible for:Achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of the Gammagard, WinRho, Aralast and Albumin products and services.
* Calling on prospective customers, provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations.
* Work with patients, patient organizations, clinicians, clinical organizations and channel participants to implement sales strategies.
*Provides feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the development of marketing programs, recommended products and product line revisions as well as pricing changes.
* Coordination with payor/reimbursement representatives to assist patients with the decision to utilize our therapy.
* Requirements Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 5 years of successful relevant healthcare sales experience.
* The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience with specialty therapy sales in a physician based sales model and/or clinical based selling in a complex, multiple call point model as well as experience managing a large territory.
* Experience working with payers and/or reimbursements is desired.
* Must have a valid drivers license.
